Strong leader groups
Through strong leader groups at Manitoba Blue Cross, we offer 90-minute facilitated debriefings that provide a flexible structure for peers from an organization to unpack the experience of being a leader. The facilitator guides participants through a check-in, acknowledgement of the current challenges facing the leaders, resilience-building through identifying strengths and strategies, and a closing checkout to wrap up the experience. The opportunity to connect and debrief in a facilitated setting is meaningful and well-received by leaders at all levels.

Looking for one-to-one sessions?
Our services also include comprehensive leader consultations, which allow leaders to discuss a range of workplace concerns and find support in a more intimate one-to-one setting. These sessions are unlimited and included at no additional cost for groups with Manitoba Blue Cross EAP coverage.
We welcome leaders at all levels to take part in strong leader groups. To create the ideal experience, we recommend that the group be made up of leaders who work together regularly.
During a 90-minute session, a facilitator will guide participants through a check-in, acknowledgement of the current challenges leaders are facing, resilience-building through identifying strengths and strategies, and a closing checkout to wrap up the experience. As an attendee, you’ll be invited to share your experience of being a leader, the specific challenges you face under the current circumstances and how you work to overcome them.
Many of our facilitators are counsellors within the Manitoba Blue Cross Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and are passionate about supporting others. Our facilitators continue to work in the field while staying up to date on current events and trends related to workplace well-being.
Sessions for strong leader groups are offered at a reduced rate for groups with Manitoba Blue Cross EAP coverage or at no additional cost for those with group facilitation hours included in their plan.
Sessions for strong leader groups are available on a fee-for-service basis.
